You guys asked for it, here it is. Through the fullsize HK45 and the P2000sk for you all as well, as some were asking for that. For the HK45, I though on the flat base plate as that is what one would probably carry it with. For the PPS, i left the 7 round mag, there is a flat 6 round it comes with as well, but the 7 is much more comfortable to shoot with. The HK45c with the flat base plate in my opinion is easier to grip and hold onto than when my USPc 45 wore the same mag... I think the contoured grips of the HK45c make it just that much easier to get a good grip on the gun even without the extended mag plate. Also through in an arts pic with my USC... just for good measure... Let me know if you guys want to see anything else... =)

I didn't title the pics, I figured you guys will be able to figure out which is which.

The PPS realy does feel a lot smaller than the P2000sk, and seems to CCW even better, the pics don't quite do it justice. It is fair to note though, that you will get more rounds in the sk. But I would say, get a PPS and a HK45c and your needs should be met for any kind of CCW. (I don't like the really tini guns. the PPS is the smallest I want to go)

That is a GREAT comparison. Thanks for the pics and sharing your collection.

No problem at all, this is just my CCW stuff (not including the CCW 1911's) and I just got a new camera, so I will have to put something together to display the full collection, but I don't think I can get them all in on picture very well... I will figure something out. =)

Didn't notice this till I looked at my own pictures, but I have checked it now in person, and the HK45c and the P2000SK are the same width and thickness...

Fantastic pics! I really really need to see the HK45c and HK45 in person. One or both might be my next purchase. :D

These threads are making me want an HK45c way too much! I almost see it this way.
5" 1911: Commander Slide mated to Officer's Frame :: HK45: HK45c. Does anyone else see this analogy? It wouldn't be a straight commander version of the full sized gun since the grip is shortened. An Officer's gun would be too small since the barrel isn't shortened that much. A commander's slide on an Officer's frame would be the best comparison in my opinion.

Great pics!

I just put the medium back strap on my HK45c. Fits me even better. I'll have to wait a week to shoot her, but I'm looking forward to it.

I shot the full size about 3 weeks ago, all at 25 yards and was still getting over the initial buzz. Going to have to work at 15yds and in to see how I do now that I'm settled down a bit.

I shot the USP .45 many years ago and hate to admit I wasn't impressed. The gun was blocky, uncomfortable, and wasn't as natural for me as the 1911-A1 I owned.

The HK45 line has completely changed the way I viewed HKs. I mentioned earlier that it was an accident that I had an HK45 put into my hand. I went to the store to try the USP again. The sales guy didn't realize there was a difference between the two and put a brand new HK45 in my hand. I was sold instantly.

Thanks again, 99999 for your work to inform.

Great job on the comparison pics...If you have time, could you please do some similar comparison pics with the USPc .45 and the HK45c?

Thanks

This is close, i took these pics a while back of the HK45f vrs the USP CT. the HK45c is pretty much the same width and shape of the slide as the HK45f, so these pics will show you the rather large difference between the two. the dimensions of the HK45c and USPc 45 are very similar, same hight and the HK45c is actually a tini bit longer in the slide to accomodate the slightly longer barrel. The big difference is in the size and shape of the slide, but the bigger difference is really just in how they feel. They really are just a bit more refined all around. =)

Wow, the HK45C is starting to take on the "C" mentality :)
