I have a rather gently used Elite that I just picked up and I haven't been able to locate any recent used pricing for them online. I know they have been disco'd by HK for a short while, but I was wondering your opinions as far as future value for them. This is of course assuming HK decides to not make more.

Mine is a .45 caliber. :62:

BTW, my "New Toy" thread went the way of the Titanic, but I wanted to say the Elite shoots really really well. It's a really accurate gun, and it's kinda cool having a Longslide HK, even if it looks a bit retro. The action feels softer than a G21, USP .45, and my 1911 from my experience. Muzzle flip is about on par, maybe a hint less than my 1911.

As of a few weeks ago CDNN had the Elite .45 new for $1004. A used price should fall anywhere south of that depending on condition IMO.

Cool, I see that they still have them up for sale as well. They'd cost more to me since they are in Texas, and I get to pay sales tax AND shipping. :(

I wonder if what they have is old stock, and not current built firearms? I was under the understanding that HK discontinued them. I would imagine the USP Elite's haven't ran off shelves for some suppliers out there.

I'm not a big .40 fan, but soft case sure does make it tempting hehe.

I bought one from CDNN in Feb, 2007. It was dated AH, or 2007. That's pretty current! I believe these are made in batches, not continuously.
