My P30 will digest any other brand, except Silver Bear 115 gr FMJ. Almost every round shot would result in the ejecting spent case getting caught by the returning slide, with the fresh round one third of the way into chamber.
This is quite disappointing, since my G19 would eat up the Silver Bear without a hiccup.
What's your experience with Silver Bear ammo, if any. Any pointers? Thanks.

I have not shot any Silver Bear 115. I had the same problem with CCI BB 115With my P30.

I have stayed away from the russian made ammo due to the casing being made from steel. If the silver bear is steel casings I would not use it. The steel casing will damage your bell/slide/extractor sooner or later.

I had a box of 145 gr. Silver Bear HP's lying around and decided to use them at the range today in my USPc 9. This is a box of 50 that I've had sitting for about 7 years and figured I might as well use them up.
At the range everything was running fine with about 10 round left to go in the box and I had a failure to eject. The round had fire but the case stayed in the breach and I could not get the slide to rack rearward by hand. Had to get the Range owner to help me out (thanks Darren!).
We managed to get the slide back, but the casing remained in the breach of the barrel. I had to use a cleaning rod from the muzzle end with a slight tap and the case came out. Took the USPc apart and did a quick inspection under light. Everything looked fine and I put the gun back together. Ran the action a few times and everything worked. Even brass reloads, I've never had a problem yet. Thanks but no thanks. Lesson learned...
With some slight hesitation, I ran the remaining 9 rounds of Silver Bear with no problem. With all that said, NEVER AGAIN will I use this stuff. Even with such a minor problem in my eye, it was just a pain compared to never having problems with factory brass loads.
