To answer your questions respectively...

I believe the next shipment supposedly should be soon.

HK makes the best thread protector for the Mark 23 (IMO) since it is their gun.

All new Mark 23 handguns come in a new plastic case from HK.

Prices are around $1800 on average.

As ten people, get ten answers and none of them probably are wrong. I have 7 or 8 of the TPs made by Mark McWillis of TROS. IMO his are the best.

Not any more. All HKs now ship with the plastic hard case. The soft bags are history in the US.

What is the going price for a new MK23?
Last shipment was selling for $1700 from Bachman Pawn and Gun, CDNN, and other discount vendors.

if you go to www.gunbroker.com and type mark 23 in the search area,there are auctions for the actual H&K thread protector,sold in the factory wrapping. hope this helps.

EVERYONE - Thank you so much for all of your responses.

I did call MILSECPRO and spoke to Tom (?) - real nice guy. They do NOT have any MK23s at this time. But they are waiting for some that are supposedly coming in.

I just called HKUSA. They said that they just recieved a shipment of Mark 23's and they are on their way to the dealers as we speak
