Well, I finally held a P30 for the first time yesterday, and, being used to USPs. . . well, I must say I was kind of shocked at first. It felt like a toy gun, it looked like a toy gun, and when I racked the slide, it felt MUCH more like a .22 cal Buck Mark or a Ruger rangetoy than a fullsize fighting weapon. . .

Boy, if I got used to that thing, a regular fullsized USP would feel like a cinder-block afterwards!

I hear it shoots nice though. . . :)

Buy one. You will love the way she shoots. It's by no means a toy gun. But the BEST made polymer out there.

I'm used to my USPs as well and when I picked one up, it felt like it was molded for my hand. :D It did feel light but after racking the slide, I don't think it felt like a toy. So I bought it last night and ran 100 rounds through it.

Don't know about with a holster, but the other day I tucked mine into the back of my pants at 6 o'clock while doing some stuff around the house and after a few minutes I barely noticed it was there. I don't CCW, so would never use this in a real world scenario, but it was more to just get an idea of how it would feel if I were ever to CCW.

I was wearing a t-shirt with a long sleeve pullover shirt over top of it, and you couldn't really tell it was there. Very minor printing.

I'm sure there are plenty of other people who actually CCW that have tried it and can give a better evaluation.

Same here, the other day actually. I finally got to hold a P30. HOLY CRAP! it fit my paws like HK specifically made the gun for me. If it wasn't for my not so deep pockets, I'd be carrying one right now!

But I still love my USPc.

I carry a P30 in a Yaqqi belt slide, only issue is the same as my HK45 - the very abrasive back strap & it's effect on skin & clothing.

i love my P30, but I need to get used to getting a good grip on it. Other than that it's a great pistol to me.

well I just bought a second P30. I carry it in a Comp-Tac IWB holster and you can even notice it with a t-shirt on. The P30 is my favorite ccw pistol ever.

Yup. ;) Ordered my MTAC holster body for it yesterday, so we'll see how it does for CC.
