OK, any CA guys out there? I see the P7M8 listed on the DOJ approved handguns list, but no other P7 models. Can we own a P7 PSP in CA? All the talk about them here has me drooling over them! Thanks in advance.

PSPs are not on the list nor are they approved. The only way to get one is through a private party transaction. Which means someone has to already own one here in Kalifornia. A LEO can purchase one since their are no restrictions (i.e. Approved List) in place for handgun purchases.

Thanks for the reply. That was the answer I was afraid of! Guess I'll have to contemplate dropping $1500 on the P7M8.

hkc40 has it right. The gun has to already be in CA and you have to do a PPT and you both have to show up at the same FFL.
You can try CalGuns at http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/index.php
sometimes you can find one here in CA. Good luck

One thing is for sure, you won't regret it if you do. :)

I love living here. But gun-wise it sucks!
