Are these much more valued than the non-marked version? How available are they?

Thanks,

The ones marked USSOCOM Mod 0 so far as I know are only available to the military and yes, one in the civilian market is much more valuable than our standard MARK 23.

not necessarily.

There were supposedly a "few" SOCOM's that were sold to Agencies and sold off to civies after, or sold directly to LE dealers etc...

Very rare, but like the HK 416's, totally "okay" by the letter of the law.

+1 for Raptor. That came out after the questions of the "pre ban 12 round socom mags" that have no markings. HKs original position was that they considered all of them as "stolen". Later they recanted a said there was a 6(?) month period in which a few maga and pistols were sold to LE for department or personal use. I followed this because I have some of those unmarked mags.

I am aware there are a very few out there hence the use of the word "generally".

I personally know of two in civilian hands, and have seen one of them in person.
