Gun to compliment P30?

I own a P30 and want a second pistol to compliment it in my small collection. The obvious choice is the HK45, but I do want to try to keep my next purchase in 9mm so that I can use the same ammo. This makes it harder to make a decision on what to look at and possibly buy in the future. What would you recommend looking at?

for what reason? Also they are no longer in production so I'd have to hunt one down online or something right?

They are easy to find. Call CDNN for the P7 PSP or check the FS boards here. For reasons to own I suggest that you do a search here and read what many others think about the P7 PSP or P7M8.

Upon shooting a P7 the answer to "for what reason" will become very obvious. :) Despite owning and having access to many HK pistols, including a relatives P30 and P7M8, I would not settle until I picked up a P7M8 of my own after firing his. It was love at first shot, they are just that good!

In addtion, it's 9mm just like your P30 and accurate as all hell like the P30 too.

P7M8s are harder to find, but they are out there. Police trade in PSPs are everywhere and one can be had for as little as around $600. Some local shops even have them, you just have to look.

Get a P7M8 to go with your P30, and never look back.

They can still be found. Pay whatever it takes. The P7M8
is worth it.

1) P7M8 for perfection

2) Glock 19 as a great comparable companion that may be easier to carry

3) P2000SK for a nice SUBcompact companion

4) Walther PPS for a good pocket gun

How does the recoil on the HK45 compare to something like a 1911?

If I were in your shoes I would go for a p2000sk in 9mm. That way you have a subcombact option to go with the p30.
