PSP dates

Does anybody know how old the current crop of PSP police trade ins are? Did HK date code these guns?

I have seen a few that appear to have date codes (month and year). I don't know if it's a manufacturing date or an acquisition date. If I'm reading them correctly most of the examples I have seen seem to date from the 80's. The last one I remember seeing was one from 1984.

Mine is December 1982. The other one at my shop when I bought mine was 1984.

The vast bulk are very low serial numbers to the sixty thousands. This puts them in the 1980 through 1983 range mostly. Some are dated, some are not.

My Grade B is 738xx and dated 6/87

Mine is an Nds import with Serial#371xx but no date code. I've been told it dates about 1982. If anyone has a better estimate please let me know.
