PSP mags in P7 M8

Will PSP 9mm mags work correctly in the P7 M8?

I am guessing no because of the difference in magazine ejectors, but would like an educated answer

As you have correctly guess, the P7 PSP and the P7M8 magazines do not inter change.

There is a cut out near the bottom in the back of the P7 PSP magazine for the magazine catch to hold the magazine in place.

For the P7M8, the magazine is higher up in the magazine.

Another reason to go ahead and buy that police trade-in. PSP mags are, right now, cheaper than M8 mags and in plentiful supply. $40 Versus $55.

if you look at the top of the P7M8 mag you will see the cut out for the mag release...looks like a square hole.....this is absent on the PSP mags because of the heel mag release...so it wont grab....

Not unless you already own a few P7M8's with a ton of P7M8 mags :(. Having to buy sperate mags is what is keeping me from picking up a police-trade in P7.

P7 mags are plentiful right now, CDNN has used mags for $40 that are in excelent condition, I've bought five. M8 mags are another story right now, only one company has any in stock and they are selling at $65

"USED" is a strong word for these mags. I bought 2 'Demo' mags and 1 new one and now wish I had just bought 4 demo mags. They look like they've been slid in & out of a gun a few times, but other than that they look brand new!!
