CDNN has these; supposedly has the "warning" on the bottom of the trigger guard instead of plastered across the slide.

I recall reading somewhere that relatively new P7M8s (from 2003 or so forward) have a few "weak" parts that are prone to breakage. Fact, or was I hallucinating?

Any illumination would be appreciated. I've got P7-itis again, but the few nice ones I've found either want my first-born in payment or the owner never heard of "return priviledges". If I've got to mortgage my soul, I'd just as soon pay it to a known reputable vendor, for a NIB product, than some hambone who thinks he has King Tut's ring re-incarnated.

So... are these new M8s equal to the older ones? A few pics of one would be lovely...

TIA.

I don't know about dates, but I've seen people claiming that late model M8s are "parts bin guns" and somehow inferior. I just don't see how this can be the case. If HK's QC accepted the parts as suitable for a build, how can these guns be inferior, regardless of when they were assembled into full guns.

I digress...
