Ok, so did a good cleaning, everything went fine doing all this by memory.
Well, except for when I pulled the firing pin assembly out. Turned and the bushing popped out, but when I was pulling on it, it came apart on my hands.
Now the firing pin can't come out, it's stuck, and I can't seem to figure out how to re-attach the bushing to the firing pin that is stuck in the slide.
Any ideas?

No matter what I do, the firing pin is STUCK inside the slide.

Can you pull the slide off?

Probably, but not sure if that'll help me see why the pin is stuck. Wouldn't I only see solid steel and the firing pin block?
Hell, I'll do whatever it takes at this point.

It's all good now... I didn't think I was this dumb, and luckily I'm not!
The firing pin was just in there EXTREMELY tight. Once I got the slide off I was able to get a better hold.
Refitted the bushing (no damage)and replaced/removed it several times like normal... but it was still tough to get in and out. Never had one fit quite this tightly before.

Same thing happened to me yesterday - took a few minutes to figure it out

This happens sometimes when the firing pin springs are worn and should be replaced. They buldge outward and cause the firing pin assembly to drag/hang up in the firing pin cavity during removal/insertion. Clean and lube the cavity as well.
