Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to determine whether or not the buffer in a P9s .45 needs to be replaced. Also, after removing the buffer assembly from the frame, I couldn't see a way to get the buffer out (it's the polymer rectangle stuck inside the buffer housing right?), so how does one go about removing the buffer from it's housing? I have two new buffers on the way from Numrich, but I don't want to screw around with the thing and mar up the finish. Any info/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

try tapping it out(works sometimes), or use a little pick(like a dental pick), or you can use a small screw to insert in the old buffer and pull it out.

If you have them coming, just replace it.

Thanks Landpimp,

very "field expedient" solutions...;-)
