I got my PSP and it is perfect, it looks like it is a brand new gun without any of the usual trade-in flaws.

I'm curious if it is thought that the PSP values will increase in the future.

I'm trying to decide if I should just put this gun away and order another to carry and shoot.

Not an expert here, but I've seen in recent posts that most people think it will be a few years before they increase in value due to the recent influx of police trade-in's.

If it's already used, I'd say shoot it and enjoy it.

To those of us that have always been intrigued by the P7 but never ponied up the $1000+ to actually buy one, these used P7s are the deal of a lifetime. To us, these pistols are worth more than we paid. Unfortunately, P7 lovers are far and few in between.

When these pistols started coming in back in May of '07, wholesale distributor RSR Group reported that 17,000 of these used pistols would be imported and sold in the American market. Now, that 17K doesn't sound like a huge number, and it wouldn't be if were talking about more popular pistols like Glocks. Considering the nature of the P7 and its followers, that 17K is a LOT. I'd guess that most people who craved and lusted after the P7 series have cashed in on this recent influx. I have a feeling that once we all get our fill (very soon), the demand will be very low, and there will still be plenty of pistols available on the market.

Personally, I am a shooter, not a collector. If I buy it, it gets shot. End of story. I can't afford to have safe queens, and for the most part, guns are a very poor investment. It takes a company collapse or a ban to make them skyrocket, and that's a terrible thing to hedge your bets on. I am happy that I was able to step into the P7 world for the same price as a new Glock. Otherwise, I'm not so sure that I would have ever justified $1K for another single stack pistol in 9mm. The price point made it an easy decision, and in my case, I feel my "C" grade is worth more than the $480 I paid for it. In fact, I consider it the best deal I've gotten to date!

That's a grade C??? Crap, that thing looks fantastic!

Knowing that they grade on internals only, how do the internals look on yours?

I might be rethinking the grade A thing...

Where did you get yours?

Mine was cherry picked from the very first batch from last year's trade-ins. I took delivery in May of '07. The Grade C pistols sold off right away, and they are gone. I get the feeling that mine was misjudged by the folks at HK, much to my benefit. I went for a C because I planned to refinish. I guess I just got lucky.

As for the guts:

Looking on gun Broker there are many to check out. Prices vary from mid 500 to 1200 or so. Depends on the grade you are leaning towards also the finish there are some chrome weapons there as well. I also am no expert or even close to it or ever will be, but I would say that the prior post on this thread are on the mark. Karl
