Anyone know where I could buy a Sparks VMII for P2000 without the wait?

I have looked everywhere including a WTB post here with no luck. I am currently on the order and wait list at Sparks. I guess I will buy something to get me thru the summer with my new toy.

Thanks bro. Looks like I'll have to do the same. Reminds me of my P7M8 days when I was trying to get a Del-Fatti!!

I ordered one for my P2000 from TT Gun Leather a few weeks ago. The wait is 6-8 weeks vs. 4-6 months from Sparks. Lots of guys on the CalCCW forum have them and swear by them. They're about 25% less expensive. I ordered mine about 4 wks ago so it will be here soon.

Here's the link:http://www.ttgunleather.com/

Just received my P2000 VMII yesterday. I ordered on 10/5/2007, so their 4-6 month lead time is fairly accurate.

I would recommend a Southern Holster's Memphis http://southernholsters.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 .
I also have one for my P2000. It's very similar to the Sparks - very comfortable, excellent craftsmanship, and lead time is 8 weeks. Although the Memphis does not feature the reinforced mouth of the Sparks, reholstering is easy as the Memphis leather is thicker and does not readily collapse.

Another option would be the Andrew's MacDaniel II http://www.andrewsleather.com/macdaniel2.htm . The leather in this holster is also thicker than that which is used in the Sparks, so it will present a slightly wider profile. Great quality, very comfortable, reinforced mouth, and a "Torque Plate" which holds the gun firmly against the wearer. I got mine in less than a week.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I just ordered one of the Southern Holsters. Does anyone make this style holster for the P7PSP? All I can find are for the P7M8.
