I took my USP to the range today for the first time and at least one round out of each mag had a failure to eject... I was shooting Remington UMC.. The front casing would just get hung up with the case pointing towards the barrel? Any help would be appreciated... Do I need to post pictures?

Thanks in advance.

My wife has had three FTE with the usp 9 compact and the Remington ammo. She has only shot 50-60 rounds with it.

It is the UMC ammo. It is low powered and it frequently, in new weapons will give you problems. Run some higher power ammo through it for the first few hundred rounds. I usually use wwb at the minimum.

My Browning High Power .9mm and Walther P88 Compact are flawless!

And how's that suppose to help him?

Try a different brand of ammo to see if it is ammo related.

It can also be grip related. If you hold the gun low, you will have to hold it much tighter. Try gripping the gun as high up as possible.

I've fired hundreds of rounds of UMC ammo in new and old HKs without a single failure.

It may very well be a grip that allows too much recoil to transfer itself into movement, particularly in combination with softer loads.

I agree with Scooter. Try a higher/stronger grip on the weapon.

I bought 50 rounds of 180gr Remington UMC for my CCW class and I hate the stuff. I have shot 180gr Magtec thru my USPc and it didn't flash nor recoil as much as Remington. I am going to go to the range burn the last of it and go with WWB 165 for range and Speer Gold Dot JHP 165 for carry.

May have been a combination of the low grip and ammo.

Good luck! Let us know.

Which can have the same symptoms of limp wristing.
