I have a Fullsize 40cal usp with the saftey/decock on the right side of the frame (i believe that is a V2) and I would like to switch the safety/decock to the left side of the frame (ala V1). I have purchased the selector for the V1 so I was wondering two things:

1. Is this the only part i need to make the change?

2. Does anyone know where I can locate detailed instructions on performing the switch. Ive looked for HK smiths in No Cent Illinois with very little luck!

Thanks for any info,
Flthy

Yes, only the selector needs to be changed.
As to the instructions, check....search function.

The only thing needed is the V1 safety/decocking lever which you already have. It is easy to change out and directions can be found here...........

I just did this myself, and used the link Mark71 listed. Just scroll down to the detail stripping link, and it's got allt he info yu need.
I was really amazed at how easy it was, and it took about 2 minutes to remove and replace.

I'm assuming not, being the internal functions are different but is a V2 and V4 control lever the same part? If they are I'd be interested in your right side selector, as I'm picking up my V3 USP9f and am a lefty :)
