Is using +P ammo okay in my new HK45?
I want to carry Corbon DPX 185g +P, go or no go?

Go for it. The HK45 can handle +P with aplomb. Just keep in mind +P ammo will cause the pistol to wear faster. That's true of any pistol. However, unless you shoot a steady, constant diet of +P, I don't think you'll ever see that accelerated wear.

Test it though. The faster cycling of the slide may cause malfunctions if the mag springs can't push the rounds up fast enough.

Mine even feeds buffalo bore .45 Super. It makes +P look like airsoft.
The 45 Super fells like it has less recoil in the HK45 than my USP 45. I only use it as a carry round so I am not beating up the pistol every time I shoot. It is easily controllable with rapid fire. Try it and you will be impressed with it's ballistics. 750 ft/lbs.

The best alternate to 10mm. The only reason for me getting the new Hk45 is to shoot the Super.
