I'm relatively new to this site and was hoping that some of the more experienced members could share with me the logic/sequence of the HK Date Code System.

Thank you,

Thank you for your help. Yes, I did check out the hkpro site and found the details on markings etc. Very helpful.

There seems to be a letter missing in your alphabet. Germans and their damned incorrect useage of English!

The letter J was reserved for magazines (their date codes are not the same)

Hey I live in the Burbs of Filthadelphia.

That makes 3 of us... I'm from the Lansdale-area, myself...

To keep this post On-Topic: I wonder what year they stopped date-coding P7 magazines?
Or is it all HK mags that no longer receive date-codes?

Hmmm....???

It seems that HK has stoped date coding some magazines, but still date codes some, byt the dating coding as been changed to the pistol date codes now.

So you're saying that the current magazine date coding system (for those that still receive a date code, anyway) is identical to the system used on the gun frames (as referenced earlier in the thread)?
BTW, from my girlfriend's place I can walk to VF Park in about 10 min. Small World (...of HK'ers in PA, that is...).
And thank you for the magazine date code info. Much appreciated.

Yep. I have a USP Elite that has identical date codes on the frame, slide, and magazines. There have been other new pistols that I have seen like that.

There are alot of us in PA esp the southeastern area.
