What about the P30 but if you go with the USPc or P2000 I'd go with the one that feels the best,just my .02.

Shooting one is much like the other. The grips are different, so one will probably feel better than the other. You need to handle and shoot both models if possible. The USP has more trigger options, and an external safety, so these might be things to consider. Either one would be an excellent choice.
Good luck in deciding;

If you do not concern about cocked and locked option definetely go with the P2K. Better and slimmer machined slide, better and more comfortable grip with interchangeable grip inserts, ambidextrous slide release, a decocker away from your fingers during handsforward grip makes me tend towards the P2K always.
It is better to try both and decide by your self which one works better for you.

My vote goes to the P2000 ... with decocker !
You don't have to think about disengage a safety when stressed !
Once decocked and just in case something happen > Just draw, point and shoot !
The first DA shot is a bit heavy (... practice !) ... the following SA are butter smooth.
The P2000 is also working nicely on the range ... but don't forget to ALLWAYS shot the 1 st round decocked and DA (justy to get used to it !)
My thinking is > P2000 w/ decocker are like wheel guns > have you ever seen a safety on a wheel gun ??

shabu2 I just went through the same thing with my first HK purchase. I had narrowed it down to the USPC and P2000. In the end I went with the P2000. They both felt great in hand. It was mainly for concealed carry and the P2000 was a little lighter. Went to the range with it yesterday for the first time. It is a fantastic shooter. The choice was hard to make in the end. I think a USPC is in my near future.

I totally agree, and get some 15RD P30 mags for the P2000.

Both are excellent guns and neither is a bad choice. Try to feel and if possible shoot both then buy the one you feel most comfortable with. IMO if you want a gun with a safety (cocked and locked carry) get the USPc if not go with the P2000.
