I was told by a salesman and DGS (Discount Gun Sales) that they are opening a new range this summer on the Bothell Everett Highway. Hopefully it's true.

It's true, the new range is called Shooting Sports NW. I drove by the new facility the other day, it's located behind the Silver Dollar Casino just off of 180th SE in Bothell/Mill Creek. It will be a membership-only range and from the looks of the pricing structure on their website, it won't be cheap to use. They will have state of the art reactive metal targets as part of the range experience or you can just shoot paper targets - your choice. Not only do you have to purchase a membership, you also have to buy range punch cards for your range time. I believe they do sell a one time trial pass for $15 so you can see what it's all about. Latest info says they will be opening in early July for business.

Update on the new SSNW range in Bothell. They are projecting to be open for business on July 7. They are currently taking applications for membership and the forms are available on their website. Do a google search for "Shooting Sports Northwest". They do indicate that they will have H&K firearms for rental so there's a plus!!

The new SSNW range didn't make their July 7 projected opening. They are now saying that July 28 is "the day" they will be open for business. I drove by there several days ago and there appears to be plenty of work left to do before they are ready to open. Hopefully they'll make the 28th.

did this place ever get opened for business?
saw their web site, but it didn't have anything stating they were open or not.

I'm not interested in using them, considering they charge 10 / hour (w/ a 25 visit card). I can go to my range ad use every handgun and rifle except the exotics firearms, and shoot for as long as I can stand, 10 mins, or two hours. I'm just wondering if they ever got going as a business and how they are doing.

Yes, Its open. It seems like there is at least 30-50 guns for rental! Reactive targets, or lanes. VIP room with couch, internet, espresso machine big screen, and 125lb massage therapists. kidding about the last one.

They have a small gun sales area, a room for cleaning with ultrasonics, vault to store your eye protection, ears, & class three collectibles.

Its $50 to be a member, $100, $200 ..ect.. for premium memberships.

This is one of 5 new shops the owners of Discount guns opened in the past few years. Business must be good.

Very nice and clean! I think this will be my new spot as the current range I shoot at is running at 1/2 capacity and upped their range fees.

Lots of guns for rent too. I'll be trying out a couple HK's soon before purchase.

Good retail store as well.

I guess they're going to give Wade's a bit of competition. They at least offer LEO discount.

Looks nice, I'll have to check it out.

One thing that's great about Bothell is that have two gun ranges (I consider the Kenmore gun range in Bothell since it is literally just over the hill)

Checked it out today. It looks nice, they have a lot of rifle and pistols to rent and a gun shop. Not very busy at all, just one newbie couple trying out pistol shooting.

Gun prices were high, they wanted like $970 for an P2000sk 9mm V.3. On top of that an extra 3% if you wanted to use your credit card. I was quoted $830 at Sams (they don't charge a credit card fee).

The staff we were nice; doubt I'd got there because of the prices though.
