P7M13 = or < P7M10 Slide Width and Height?

I have a holster maker looking into making a custom holster for my M10 and he said that the slide thickness for a P7M13 is the same as a P7M10.

He only has a blank for a P7M8 and P7M13. I told him that I thought the M10 was much thicker and taller than a M13.

I am tempted not to get the holster from him and go to Mitch Rosen that has a specific holster for the P7 series and the P7M10.

Does anyone know?

From having held to two I would have guessed much different, however I don't currently have an M10 :(

But this is what www.remtek.com says:

In all other respects, however, the P7M10 is pretty much the same as the 9mm P7M13. Dimensionally, its overall length of 6.90 inches, barrel length of 4.13 inches and width of 1.30 inches is identical to that of the M13. While the P7M10 is bigger than the 9mm squeeze cockers, it is still more compact than most other makes of service .40 S&W autos. Being of the same overall length as the P7M13, it is quite a bit shorter than most of it competitors, although its height is about the same.

M10 is thicker, taller and heavier then M13. Recently picked up an M10. Will check in my M8 holsters and let you know.

I tried my P7M10 in a P7M8 holster, no way will it fit in. My understanding on the width, is that the measurement is at the grip not the slide. I am getting the feeeling, the holster must be made by someone that has a M10 blank or it is a risk.

Any other feed back would be appreicated.

The M10 does NOT fit in a M8/M13 holster. Tried my Don Hume's and Mitch Rosen - no way, M10 trigger guard is much larger. Really like my Mitch Rosen holster, fits like a glove and the grip rides high for access. Order the Mitch Rosen - worth the wait.(but do you want to carry the weight of P10).

Which Mitch Rosen model do you have? I was looking at the ARG Plus in the Slim Line version. Thanks for checking you holsters for the fit.

Thanks for all the imput. I orded a ARG Plus from Mitch Rosen, mohagany with black shark skin and a snap loop. No point in taking risks on this item. Mitch has a blank for the P7M10 and only a 6 to 8 week wait.
