Went to shoot my new USPc 9 and experienced 2 stove pipe jams, I guess that would be the proper description. It was always on the last round which puzzled me because the slide should have locked back anyway?? I would say this occured during the first 50 rounds, after that I went through another 150without any problems. I contacted H&K and left a call back number and got a call shortly. I told the gentleman that the 1st 50 rounds were with winchester and the remaining 150 were with remington, both 115 grain. He said he suspected the ammunition. Anyone have any thoughts on this matter.

If it's a "brand new" pistol, that's common. New recoil assembly, everythings tight, you getting used to a new pistol, etc. Now if you mean the pistol is new to you but not actually "new out of the box", well then that's a different story.

I guess I should have made that clear, it was new out of the box, thanks.

It could be because you are limp-wristing or anticipating the gun's recoil. In order to function properly, a semi-auto needs a rigid platform for the action to move against. If you try to "help" the gun and move the gun while its action is unlocking, it will shorten the whole cycle and can prevent the casing from clearing the ejection port.
It could also be a problem with one of the magazines. Check to see if it happens with both magazines or just one magazine. -If it only happens with one mag, I'd suspect the mag.

Try SLOOOOWLY hand cycling on the last round in question and visually inspect to see what the hang up is.
I do mean VERY SLOWLY, under bright light and careful observation.

Did you clean it before shooting it? I would think a gun loaded with factory grease could seize up easily with underpowered ammo.

I also got a brand new USPC 9
it stovepiped once while shooting sub sonic heavy FMJ (sellier&bellot). I dont think this is an issue with a new gun. Let it brake in an of course use only selected and aprooved ammunition.

I had that happen twice in my new USPc 9mm within the first 20 rounds through it. It was with Remington UMC. It hasn't happened since, I just blamed it on a break-in period.

That also happened to my FS .40 when it was new. Put another 200 rounds through it and you wont see that problem again until you need to replace the mag springs. To find out if it is the mag, put some masking tape in the bottom of your mags and label em 1,2, etc. and see if its the same one all the time or not.

I agree. HK can be quite generous when it comes to packing grease. ;)
