First off, hello world of HKPRO. ;)

I just joined the HK brotherhood with the purchase of a new USPc40 with the LEM trigger (my first HK, NOT my last). I love this gun. Incredible Quality. I have also just got my CCW. I am looking for a good comfortable holster. I am a real estate appraiser and I am in and out of a truck 10 times a morning. I have to be able to tuck, as I have to dress professional. Does anyone on this forum have any experience with these IWB SuperTuck Deluxe holsters from crossbreedholsters? I've done a lot of searching, and Ive not seen anything else that really peaks my interest.

Any other favorites?
Ive done some searching of the forum, but I have not really found the answer I'm looking for.

I am also looking for a good condition P7. I have shot a few in the past, and I think it is time I have one for my collection. I will most like start a thread on the WTB forum. Is there anything I should look out for when purchase one of these. I know there is a large quantity of these that are police surrenders. Should I avoid these or should they be fine for a first P7?

On a side note, this is an incredible community with a lot of love for the product and for each other. I hope I can become a helpful contributor of the church of HK.

I looked for an IWB for my USP expert, and the only place I could find with a hydex/leather IWB holster was Tucker Gunleather's "The Answer". He made me a holster that actually just came in today. It fits well, and draws well. I will post a full review next week after I get some more "seat time". I would check them out. For a standard USP, check out Comp-Tac's Minotaur as well. My father has one for his Glock, and he's happy. I haven't been able to compare them side by side yet, however they are similar in design.

Mine took about 5 months, wheras I think Comp-tac is about 2 weeks. I hate to deter you from purchasing from Rob, however I have to give you as much info as I can. I am happy with my purchase, and I know they will work with you to custom make it to your specifications. Also, "The Answer" was the original hybrid holster as far as I am aware, although I have nothing to back that up.

I just got a Comp-Tac MTAC and I love it. Took less than a week to get mine for a fullsize USP.

+1 MTAC. The most comfortable tuckable holster I have used. The leather backing and the adjustability make it really adaptable to your body type, which is important.

Pretty sure that CDNN had some P7's. Look at the catalog/download it, and give them a call. $10 shipping to your FFL, plus your FFL charge...

FWIW:

CDNN sells "A" grade and "B" grade P7's. ( I bought three "A" grades.. One came new and unfired, two probably have been fired as the internals took a little "different" somehow, but are still like new.. Neal is my salesperson).

A gentleman on the Sig forum (Steve) sells P7's also, although it seems they are all "B"'s. His prices are a little lower than CDNN, and I've read several posts from satisfied customers of his.

Actually even though all my P7's are "A" grade I've never read a post from a buyer who purchased the "B" grade pistols and was less than satisfied with them. IMO both "A" or "B" grade P7's are in fantastic condition.

This relatively recent supply of P7's (17,000) are from the Lower Saxony Police (German) and they have been graded by HK personnel and rated according to INTERNAL wear, NOT cosmetic appearance. "B"s are rated vg/excellent, "A"'s are rated exc/like new.

It is my understanding that CDNN, Steve, and several folks selling surplus P7's on the internet (www.gunsamerica.com for one) are all Lower Saxony guns.

Get ya a couple while the getting is good... After this supply dries up no one knows what the availability of future P7's will be.

Just personal opinion/no offense intended to anyone.

I have no experience with crossbreed. But I know a lot of Springfield armory XD owners have a lot of positive reviews on it. You can see them over at the xdtalk forum.

I personally use a MTAC and like it a lot, very comfortable holster.

for IWB, I'm a big fan of the Milt Sparks VersaMaxII. for OWB, I like the Lou Alessi CQC/s.

I am 99% sure i'll be ordering the supertuck deluxe.
I prefer the looks of the Comp-Tac but since this is IWB that's a moot point. To top it off I live in Texas so after you figure in tax and the higher MSRP the CrossBreed was the clear winner for me. However I would like to have both side by side for a show down.

In my opinion, the Comp Tac Minotaur Mtac is THE best for carrying in dress clothes. I carry my uspc in one, in dress clothes on a daily basis. You can also get the "C clips" so it is hidden behind your belt. Or if you are a daring man, you can go one step further and get the "V clips". They go behind the belt and velcro to it. You need to get velcro sewn to your favorite belt to use them, but with them, it is 100% concealed.
