I was told, by Jeff of HK, that the LEM conversion for the the 45c would be available in a couple of months but that the one for the P30 was still up in the air.

I don't know if it works in the HK45, but I know HK Part Number #214255 allows you to make a USP SAO or Varient 9.

You can keep the safety, but you lose the decocker.

I really wish HK would just come out with the P30 LEM!! I mean, at SHOT my buddy was told it was more or less imminent. Then somebody on this board was told it would be out (and not the conversion), and now...it's gone again, TBD. WTH? They need a better marketing department. Bad info is worse than no info. Of course, this is the internet.... :)

If there is a forthcoming LEM for the P30 it won't be for the current production guns. The current production like the P2000 V3 has the decocker on the rear of the slide. The LEM doesn't utilize the decocker. I think removing it would leave a space in the rear of the slide.

I'm ok with a space...I just want a factory authorized LEM trigger mod. Heck, I'd even keep the decocker...whatever it takes.. I want LEM...or God forbid, I may have to get a Walther or even a ...well..nahhh :)

I got the same reply as Eragon from HK customer service last week.

They have no clue when the P30 LEM, either conversions or straight out made that way, will hit the market.

I received an emal from HK Customer Service last week stating that the 45c conversion and the factory P30 would both be available later this summer. Not that I'm holding my breath but I am going to wait as I want a P30, but only in LEM.

Hopefully the p30L LEM will come out along side it. Don't confuse the LEM conversion kit with the factory ready variant. I have heard that yes the LEM conversion kit for the p30 probably wont make it but no talk of the factory ready p30 LEM variant being canceled or not coming out. What I usually hear is people confusing talk of the conversion kit being canceled and spreading the word that the p30 wont come out in LEM period. Also HKPro member Montrala if you do a search has successfully converted his p30 to LEM. Im sure he would be happy to share with you how he did it.

Everything I have mentioned has been about the "kit". I didn't ask if they were going to make a production run of either a 45c or P30 in LEM.
