OK, I know that the absorber bushing that goes over the recoil spring is supposed to be loose and I know this is an important part for lengthening the life of the gun, I get all that. However, this thing is annoying (the one and only knock I have on the almost perfect gun), is there anyway to stop it from sliding around in there? I was trying to practice quick draw with it and the dam thing keeps sliding, its driving me crazy!

Look at it this way, the sound of firing the gun will mask the sound of the bushing sliding back and forth ;)
Some people have taken some grease and coated the inside of the bushing and the greas kind of keeps it "stuck" to the spring/guidrod. Much like how the bushing doesn't move with all of HK's packing grease when the gun is new.

I'll try that with the grease. It is a minor issue, but kinda annoying, that being said, I wouldn't trade my USPc for any other combat handgun!

Nah, compacts are the best all around gun. Full size is a better night stand gun, but not that concealable. But don't fret, full size USPs are on my list!
