I'm 5' 9", 220lbs, stocky with a little gut. What CCW holsters would you recommend for me to look into? Needless to say, it's kinda hard to CCW with this kind of frame. Anyone in/around this size have any good ideas of what kind and where to place?
Right now I have a fullsize USP 40 but I'm looking to get a compact or a different brand subcompact.
Any help would be great.

I would recommend a shoulder rig if you have an Excutive build. That is if you regular wear a t-shirt shirt over the top or a vest. I had knee surgery a while back and still recooping and working out and I find that the swelling from my knee went to my side making my fobus a little akward. SIr size does not matter really I am 6 ft 5 260 and despite all the football I have played my love handels are mine and I own them. Get what is comfortable, I would look into a shoulder rig if it were me. Regards Karl

Hello, Welcome to the forum!
Depends on what type of material you are looking for. Leather, Kydex, or both. If you are interested in leather Milt Sparks VMII is what I have and is very comfotable.(my build is very similar to yours 5'7" 210lbs) However comp-tac offers a hybrid of kydex and leather. I believe it is the minatour mtac. This is has very good reviews with the members of this board.
Good luck.

I have the same build as you and carry VERY comfortably in a Wild Bill No Such Agency IWB.

This is the holster I use made by Mernickle, mine was custom made for HK45. The sig is not mine. They have a ton of variations for ccw, and great customer service.

Thanks guys.
Where do you like to put your holsters (i.e. 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock, etc.)?
