I'm just starting to research the HK. Can you pocket carry a P2000SK in jeans, Dockers, etc.? For reference i easily carry a SW642 daily, but found the Glock 26/27 too big. Also i'm only familiar w/ Glocks are HK's high maintenance weapons?

You can pocket carry depending on what you are wearing. In standard military pants no problem. I can't in jeans unless I don't care about getting to it quickly. However, I would recommend just getting a good IWB holster and be done with it.
As for maintenance, no more than any other weapon.

+1 Both the Glock 26/27 and P2000sk are just about the same size and both are dead reliable with no maintenance issues.
For pocket carry stick with the J-Frame or possibly look at the different Kahr models.
