I saw where cdnn had usp compacts in 357sig for some ridiculous low price and I was wondering what you guys thought about these. I already carry a gun chambered in 357sig and I really like the round, so no problems there. So whats the opinion on these guns? Also, I couldn't find them listed on the HK site, have they been discontinued?

They are usually dept trade in etc;

I know a few guys who got them from there and they have no complaints

Since most are LE trade in dont expect as nice a warranty service from HK, Duty guns are only guaranteed for a year IIRC

That being said my USP is my old dept gun with the HK revised warranty and after almost a decade I have not had one problem with the gun

I have one and love it. Easy to conceal with the right holster, and it is a blast to shoot! It also fits my hand great.

It is a great gun especially for the $. The USPc .357sig is extremely accurate and VERY fun to shoot. HK has discontinued the .357sig in both the USPc and P2000 so grab one while they are still around. I foolishly sold mine a few months ago and thinking about taking advantage of the CDNN deal and picking up another.

I purchased two USPC's in .357 Sig from CDNN within the last 4 months, they are both great guns, actually sold one to my nephew, kept one for myself, they are great guns, just discontinued. Get one FAST!!!

Well, I bought it, appearantly the day after CDNN raised the price, but nonetheless, I bought it! Just cleaned it up, looks great and I can't wait to shoot it. I still need to get out and shoot my p7 too.

Thanks for the help guys.

Is that correct they discontinued the .357SIG caliber for the P2000??

If they really did. Mine is gonna be a safe queen now. :cool:

Why is HK stopping production of the 357 sig caliber? That is a great round to shoot and very accurate.

They are in fact NIB USPC .357 SIG. There is nothing wrong with them and they are a steal at the price they are selling for. I just got the CDNN 2008-3 catalog (with prices) and they list them for $550 with 3 ten round mags. These are NIB, not police trade ins, and have full HK warranty.
The reason they are no longer listed on HK-USA is they are no longer imported. Same as for the stainless guns, slow sales is the reason.

Id think its not as popular a caliber as 40 or 9mm

Kinda tempting. How's the muzzle blast with the 357 Sig in a compact?
