I just purchased an HK4 to add to my HK collection and took it to the range. I fired three rounds and it FTF I first thought that maybe the mag spring needed to be stretched due to the previous owner keeping firearm loaded at all times. I then however realized that the slide would not go back into battery. I attempted to rack the slide and realized that there was no felt spring pressure on the slide. I was wondering if any one has any advise on how I can fix this or what is wrong. I have tried to disassemble the pistol and I can not get the slide to lift off the frame now.
HK people help please

I have a Mauser HSC but it's not the same gun. Did your pistol come with a manual?

Hey gunfighter,
The one I just bought came with a buffer that was really old, and disintegrated after a few shots. When the buffer falls apart and the pieces and the buffer plate are all rattling around in the slide cavity, it will keep the slide from getting to the notch that lets the little tabs off the rails.
Try shaking it around, and turning it upside down while you try to remove the slide. But do it over a rag to catch the buffer plate. You don't want to lose that. e-gunparts has the buffers in stock. I just bought 2.
Good luck.
