View Full Version : HK45 and X300 combo
Anyone use the X300 along with an HK45? I am looking to pick up a remote switch for my x300 and would like to know which one works. They have parts listed for the Compact or the 40/45.
Thanks in advance.
Since the trigger guard on the HK45 is different from the USP Compacts I doubt those would work. The trigger guard on the HK45 makes the light sit further forward thus increasing the distance between the back of the light and the grip. That, along with the longer "fullsize" HK45 compared to the compact USPC would also add to the distance.

I love mine, it's the brightest I have ever seen!

I can't answer your question about the remote switch but the X300 is awesome. Botach has them for $175.

That is the combo I run. Unfortunately, I don't use the tape switch, so I can't answer your question completely. I can assure you that the combo is totally reliable.

I also like the x300 on my hk45. Don't use a remote switch (never have), but I do like the way your trigger finger can "flash" the white light by pushing forward.
I also got mine from Botach without issue. this is the brightest weaponlight i've ever used.
cheers

I use the pressure switch on my duty weapon.... I can't reach the back of the X300.
A light I can't reach to turn on is of no use. I'm kind of forced into using the pressure switch.
