I have a hard time finding a store that has both in stock. Dose anyone have any input and/or pictures to compare the two pistols size wise?

I have the GPM P2000 and a gen 3 Glock 19. The P2000 is a couple millimeters taller(calibrated vision) and a little shorter than the 19. There might be some difference between the standard P2000 and the German Police Model. They really are about the same size but the P2000 has a higher barrel profile. Sorry I can't post pics at the moment.

I have both. For all intents and purposes they are the same size, with the flat magazine floor plate. The P2000 weighs about an ounce more.

Both are classified as "compact" sized pistols and both make excellent carry guns. The P2000 I play with and the G19 I own have been nothing but reliable from the start.

With flat mag base plates installed, the P2000 is a trifle shorter than the G19, and a few eigths of an inch shorter in length. They are very similar in size, though.

What's interesting is that even though the Glock 19 is one of the most common and popular 9mm CCW weapons, the USPc 9mm is smaller/more compact in every single dimension, except it weighs more and holds 2 extra rounds.

How does the P2000 compare in size to the P30? I always assumed they were about the same but am not so sure now.

I haven't had a chance to put them side by side, but the P30 certainly felt bigger in my hand. According to the specs below, the P30 is 2 inches taller.

Thanks. In my newness to HK's I actually thought the P30 was a replacement for the P2000 until recently. Looks like I need to check out a P2000 for carry.

The p2000 is a great carry gun. I have a p2000sk right now, but am trying to unload it in order to get the regular p2000.

Side by side all 3 are prety much equal in size, athough, the USPc9's slide is a quarter of an inch thicker than the G19's. Also, as mentioned, the USPc9 weighs a little more (about 2 oz.'s) and holds 2 less rounds less.

So out of these variants;
2000 V1
DA/SA
P2000 V2
LEM
P2000 V3
SA/DA with de-cocking.
What the heck is SA/DA with de-cocking and where is the de-cocker?
Is the LEM model hard to find? This might be an opportunity to see if I like LEM or not.

I carry my P30 on my left hip every day. I have no problems with the P30 for CCW.

I don't either but if the P2000 was smaller but still had enough grip for my apelike hands I was going to check it out but it appears it is not really significantly smaller.

steelshooter, have you considered getting a P2000sk and using a P2K mag with the x-grip adaptor? Works great and is one possible solution to a big hands dilemma. I know it's not as much fun as buying a new gun but just a thought!
