Date code with the serial 565xx?

There should be a two letter date code on the pistol. It is the two letters that determin the date code.

With that serial number it's not an M8. Just a basic P7.

The P7 and P7 PSP have heel mag releases where the M8 has a thumb release. The P7 and PSP were predominant in europe and issued to the german police.

Production P7M8s started with the serial number in the low 81,000s. Does your 565xx gun have P7M8 on it?

That is the info given me from a seller. Guess he does not really know his HK?

Probably not. A lot of people call the P7 a P7M8.
