H&K USP OD/GREEN and TAN FRAMES

I own a black full size USP and can I upgrade to the tan or green frame without buying a brandnew USP??? If so where can I find them???

There were only 500 of each caliber/frame size made for OD green, tan and gray. I am not sure about production numbers on the custom combat models. I highly doubt HK offers an upgrade for color. I think the best bet is to buy a USP in the color you want.

Well there are companies out there that will paint poly (around $75 - 150) frames of handguns. I have found a couple and emailed one about going from a black to a od green or tan and they said it should not cause a problem. I am not sure about any of the specifics though.

Me too. Did yours come with the decal grips? Mine came with the more sandpaper type but I ordered the softer rubber as a replacement. I think they look great on it, kinda breaks up the green.

nope.. no decal grips for me.

Did not realize they were available on the normal USP color frames, I thought only on the Custom Combat. Shows how much I know:)

You can order the decal grips in sand or rubber for any USP. They did just happen to come already on the "custom combat" models.

Both are great, but after a year of carry, my USPc rubber grips are starting to peel on the very bottom on the right side of the frame. I think I will replace them with the sand grips.... either way, both do increase the grip for sure.

Duracoat finishes is a search I ran one time and you can come up with a load of companies. The specific company I emailed was bearcoat.com and his response was

USP frames are an exact match to the slides and all other parts when done in green or gray.
