Guys,

I want to upgrade my frame color without buying a whole new USP with the OD/Green or Tan so I stumbled upon this website. It's pretty cool and it's all geared twords firearms and painting. They have templetes to work off of and everything. I can't wait to paint my USP frame the Desert Tan!!

I'm going to hire a professional though...LoL I'm not willing to risk my H&K to a shotty paint job.

Duracoat doesn't require baking and can be sprayed over existing finish. I have used it, Gunkote that must be baked, and Cerakote by Microdyne, that also must be baked. I prefer the baked finishes, however they are more expensive and difficult to apply. My AR-15 has a combination of Gunkote on metal parts and Duracoat on the ARMS handguard, all of it sprayed over any existing finish. It is tough stuff and looks great.http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg179/burr75/DSC00063.jpg

I highly recommend Custom Firearm Finishes. Les is a great guy and a master at using DuraKote. He's done up several of my guns. Look on his pictures web for an Armalite AR-10T in ACU pattern camo - that's mine, and the first one he ever did in that pattern. He's not inexpensive, and it takes a few months, but I believe it's well worth it in the end:
