Oh crap, I just got a new HK P30 and my favorite holster is not made for the HK P30. :(
The holster in question, Comp-Tac's The Infidel Holster with the Gurkha Strut.
I looked at some of there other options for the HK P30 and they don't look comfortable to me.
Does anyone else make a holster like the Comp-Tac Infidel for the HK P30?

I would contact Comp-Tac if I were you. They are making other holsters for the P30.
I also love the Infidel with the Gurkha strut for my G19.

Well, I saw the ones they do currently offer and frankly, I don't like the designs.
I like how this one has one clip ON the holster and then the strut clip
I don't like the CTAC design with its two clips to the left and right of the holster and I don't like that hybrid thing with the big leather back.
Also saw that one with the wrap around belt thingys but that won't work because I dont wear belts. I wear jeans with NO belt and the Infidel stays secure. No joke, I wore the Infidel with sweat pants a few times last winter too. Never moved lol. I just love the design.
I emailed them to ask if they would consider doing some Infidels.

I don't know of anything like the gurka strut but I carry a DeSantis Pro Stealth which is sort of like the Infidel with the belt clip, though it's nylon. Not sure if it's made for the P30 though.
There are some other's like that as well, like the Mr. Softy (http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Product_Line/_Mr_Softy/_mr_softy.html).

If you would have got my P30 I would have let you try my Comp-Tac Ghurka holster. It is very nice and just like the infidel minus the way it connects to your belt.
You also would have got the settable cant holster included with the deal!
Bum... :-P
Seriously though, I wanted the infidel too, they said the way the connectors are designed they can't do it without making it extra thick, the Ghurka I think is probably nicer, easier on and off and very secure, and you can take off the strut and it is just like an easy to take on/off infidel.
Hope this helps!

Which connectors are you talking about?
I have an Infidel with the Ghurka strut for my HK45C....the P30 fits in it, although it is a tad shorter.

Its the same connector that is on the ghurka strut. Just clips right over the belt. I guess you could have had that on your infidel because I think it accepts all different kinds.

Don't discount the comp-tac stuff until you've tried it. I'm no fan of kydex, but because nobody else made anything for the P30, I ordered a MTAC holster for it. VERY comfortable. Yeah it's an ugly hybrid leather/kydex thing, but it's an IWB and nobody ever sees it. The P30 is pushing my size limits for a gun IWB, and the MTAC makes it easy. Good people to deal with too.

I have the MTAC also as well as their locking paddle with a belt clip converter. Great quality as usual. I can carry the P30 pretty comfortably. I looked at a P2000SK yesterday but don't see it being significantly easier to carry than the P30.
I also have the Hybrid Minotaur and it may look ugly but it's a really great carry holster.
I also like the High Noon slide guard leather holsters but last time I checked they don't make one for the p30.

Who said anything about discounting the Comp-tac stuff? All I own are Comp-tac holsters for IWB. I like the Infidel, I don't really like the MTAC though.

Who said anything about discounting...
I apologize - I went back and re-read your initial post and saw where I misunderstood. I haven't tried an Infidel, but am really digging the Minotaur. It's my first experience with anything from the Comp Tac folks but won't be my last.

Looks like for right now the MTAC might be my only option.
I think, I guess, I might try one. If I don't like it, with the P30 being so new and people looking for holsters, I'm sure I can resell it pretty easy.

For what position (side, 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock, etc) is the Gurkha best designed? They've discontinued the Gurkha but you can get the Gurkha strut for the Infidel holster and have the same config. My main reason for the question is; where does that Gurkha strut clip end up along your waist?
Thanks
