HK p7 a big ol mess

I ordered an excellent to like new grade A p7 last month. What I got was not excellent to like new. It rattled because it was missing a spring and a retaining pin. The barrel had nicks on its opening, the lettering on the right side was worn away and it was plum. I sent it back a couple weeks ago and got its replacement yesterday. At first I was real happy. Despite the plum slide externally it was in good shape, except for the brown dots in my sights.

When I opened it up it was a whole other story. First it was extremely dirty, there was gunk all over the place, I have run 30 patches thru the barrel and the barel is still not clean. The sear is rusty and a dark orange color along with the drag catch lever. The frame is pited along the grips. And to top it all off this one is missing the plunger spring and retaining pin.

I asked CDNN a lot of questions before I bought this gun. I was told they were graded on internals. How could 2 guns leave HK missing these parts and be graded As. Also the second gun was never cleaned after the last time it was used. I think they sent me one that was returned by someone else who had taken it out shooting. I would hope HK didnt overlook that. At this point with shipping and ffl fees im into this thing $840. I just want my money back.

It drives me crazy they can sell an internally rusty grade A with missing pieces for $700. Did anyone out there have a similiar experiance. Does anyone think CDNN will give me my money back.

That's because when the guns left HK, they were still brand new. CDNN buys their stuff from other brokers. That's the price you pay when buying used guns. There's no factory certified pre-owned guns.

I understand that used gun part, I have bought a couple of used guns. but CDNN told me that HK went through them thoroughly, graded them, then sent them to CDNN. I was told I was getting a pistol that HK said was an A grade. I thought CDNN was a decent place to make purchases. i didnt expect to get a dirty rusty pistol.

They should refund your money with no questions asked.
