Factory treaded HK45s

Ok, so now that the barrels are here for sale, is HK selling an HK45 that comes with the barrel already, ala USP Tactical?

I have not bought an HK45 and my KAC OHG can is waiting for another host!

Talked to HK cust. service manager yesterday morning and he said the HK45T won't be available until at the earliest 4th quarter 2008,possibly 1st quarter 2009, even though the threaded barrels are now available.

I hope they have tall sights to clear a suppressor.The 'Tactical' versions will have proper sights for a suppressor - H&K knows what they are doing. :)

Does anyone know if the HK45Ts will be available in tan, FDE, pee green, or some other desert color?

Probably not would be my guess. HK just didn't do too well with colors.

That's too bad since I was in awe of the pistols that Ken Hackathorn and Larry Vickers were using in the article by [I]Shotguns News[I]. I also had hoped the threaded barrels would have the crown that is supposed to grip the suppressor's O-ring.
