USPc mag release problem

I just bought a new uspc 45 and the mag release catch is very stiff. It is very difficult to eject a mag with my right finger on the right side, and almost as bad with my thumb on the left. Is this normal and it just needs a "break in" period, or is it a problem?

Are you trying to eject a full mag, or is it just as hard without a mag in?

Both, the spring mag release just seems very hard to operate. My USP 45 works great , it's just this new gun, so I know it's not me.

I would say that its probably just a stiff springs being a new gun, give it some time to break in. I doubt the spring is set in there wrong but hey, you can always pop out that roll pin and look for yourself! Pretty easy, only 3 pieces including roll pin.
