View Full Version : What will your next HK Pistol purchase be!

HKCHEF

Just wondering what everyone is getting ready to buy, or saving up for, or waiting to be released. What will be your next HK pistol purchase and why?

My list goes:

P30L - Have a down payment on one, just waiting, I love my P30 and want another.
P7M8 - Going to look for a new one, I know some are floating around. I want to know first hand why this gun is loved.
Sphinx 3000 Competition - Just looks badass I need one!;)

Oh, and whenever the MR223 is released it will take priority.

As far as HK handguns go I would like a P30L and I would really like to find a 9mm USP Expert.

What do you like about the Expert.

The longer (5.2") barrel makes for a VERY accurate and soft shooting gun. The Match Trigger is very nice and I really like the looks of the Expert. Plus they are pretty rare as not many made it to the States.

USP Compact Tactical. Just because I want a compact 45 and for some reason I like the grip better on the USP than the HK45c.

Mark 23 simply because I want it. There really is no justification for that gun over a USP Tactical 45, that doesn't stop me from wanting on though.

After that I'm going after some FN's, the 5.7 and PS90 in particular before they get banned.

I ordered a P30 last week. I'm going crazy waiting for my FFL to call and tell me I can pick it up.

Up next is probably a USP tactical. After watching some video's on youtube I feel like I NEED a suppressor. A full size would really round out the collection with the P30 and P2000sk.

The SS Match looks boss, but I'm not sure I could justify the cost right now if I found one. I bought two new guns in a week so I'm out of the market for awhile.

I'm thinking of a UPS compact 9mm and possibly a UPS .40 full size - I sold one years ago now and regret it terribly.

Due to a serious illness, I've been more than a little "out of the loop" gunwise for the past six or so years, so I'm still trying to catch up on all of what is new and exciting out there. As a long-time HK fan, it was only natural I begin here!!

A few days ago I would not have given this a thought but I may get a P2000 or P2000sk in 40 with LEM tomorrow. I have a USP 45 and a USP 9 and a P7PSP and thought that was enough but I keep thinking I need a 40 HK. I was done buying guns but back in June got a Kimber Ultra CDP II and a TP22, then a Para Ordinance SSP and then a Glock 27 and a SIG 239 (40/357) and now a Walther PPK. The 239 was a trade and the SSP was sold since my two full size Kimbers fill the 5" 1911 niche. Anyway the P2000 feels great in the hand and the guy running the shop said he has a P2000sk coming in tomorrow that comes with three magazines and night sights. I'm glad I quit smoking pot and drinking many years ago but I think this hobby may cost even more money.

My next 2 purchases probably are a USP 40 Tactical and a USP 9SD, to use as a base to build clone Match guns in these calibers. Like Amgelina Jolie they're all a bit front heavy alright, but I sure love that aggressive sexy look of those Match guns! . . Oh yeah, Angelina ain't bad either.

Explaining purchases to ones wife is more difficult that explaining them to the IRS...

LOL!!! That's why I already bought a motorcycle. My girlfriend is really cool about things, but I'm sure that can all change when they become your wife. She actually likes guns, so I told her all about the history of the Mark 23 and how it's an "investment." She thought it was cool, but I'm not taking any chances - I'll be buying it before any vows are exchanged.

My next HK will be a P30L unless I run into a deal on another P7 that I can't pass up.

Just remember fellas; Its always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission. If I had my choice, I'd be asking for forgivness on a Mark 23.

E.W.

Good choice if you have to ask . . but remember, fellas, you can only use this excuse once. Your old lady will divorce your ass if it's chronic, trust me on that!

My wife doesn't know about the new HK45, even though I've cleaned it in front of her a couple times now. She thinks its the P30. My next will probably be a P2000 SK in .40.

A few days ago I would not have given this a thought but I may get a P2000 or P2000sk in 40 with LEM tomorrow.
By the time I left work two hours early today I had my heart set on the P2000sk that was to have arrived with night sights and 3 mags. But when I arrived at the shop the owner (who I know from two previous transactions, nice guy) told me that a PSP had been sent instead so I went to another shop I know well and they had a very lightly used 40 USPc so I bought it. I haven't had a HK in 40 yet, just two 9s and a 45, so I am looking forward to shooting it when I pick it up.

Sorry......that was today.....traded with a gentleman on AR-15 and picked it up today. Better than advertised. Love it. Haven't taken my own pictures yet, but here she is.......Next I'm hoping for a MK23 (and that selling organs will be legal so I can afford it).....

Just wondering what everyone is getting ready to buy, or saving up for, or waiting to be released. What will be your next HK pistol purchase and why?

Hard to say...just depends on the 'deal' at the time.

I would tend to say the HK45 HK45C P30L P30 but lately I have been keeping my eye out for stainless models. Just picked up a fine USPc9 SS and could not be more pleased.

My view is that the newer models listed above will always be around for a while and now I just need to keep an eye out for the not-so-common models > SS, Elite, Experts or even reg USP's OD. I am not ruling out a SK or P7M8 either.

...or if there is a good package deal I cannot pass up.

But rest assured there will be MORE. :10:

Toss up between an HK45c to go with my HK45 or a USC with all the parts to make it a UMP. Probably both at the same time so it will be a fun day. Mr. Obama has already cost me a ton of money lol.

Not really looking for another H&K gun actually. I have my Mark 23 and my Glocks, all my niches are filled... I'm a broke college student so I can only have so many of those afterall, lol..

If I did get another gun, I sure wouldn't mind having an expert.

Its sometimes really hard to say what it will be for sure.....if the right one Hk comes along at the right price it can change the order of things a bit.
I currently have my eyes on a V-51SBR w/ collapsable stock ... Vector Arms HK-51 clone. Something about the .308 punch in such a small package.

If I was to buy another HK pistol right now. It would be a P2000 .40 V3 & P2000SK 9mm V3. But if I could it would be another HK45. Living in cali sucks.

I was planning on trading in my Kahr K40 Covert for a USP .45. However, when I came across a W. German made Sig Sauer P220 with night sights selling for $450, I couldn't pass up the offer. My next HK will have to wait. It will probably be an HK45c.

I'm about to call Michi-gun and get a P30L on order. I got some months ahead of me anyhoo.

BTW - For all you guys saying how much you want the Mark23: Once you buy your dream gun it doesn't stop. You keep looking. You keep obsessing. You will never stop. God help the man that can. . .

Well I got my USPc 9mm. I just put a P7 PSP on hold so I'll be picking that up soon enough. I'm really excited about the P7. Funny thing is before I ever owned any HK's a guy showed my one and it really didn't move me. Then again I was brand new to guns.

If I can get my hands on a Combat Competition, or Custom combat i'd be extremely happy. I'd settle for a regular USP 9 with jet funnel kit and mags in OD green or Desert Tan. Been looking for quite some time and nothing come up:(

I have a USPc.40 with a SS slide i've been trying to get rid of. Just cant tell if I like it or not. The SS is nice because it's easier to keep clean, etc. Going to a gun show this weekend to trade it for something nicer but Hk, well see!

Just bought a USP .45 today, and I can't wait to take it to the range. I fell in love with HKs when my Dad purchased a P7 a few months ago. Absolute heaven. I just hope my USP is half as accurate, because that little 9mm is scary good.
