Well after wanting a HK for a while I finally picked up a P2000 chambered in 40 cal with LEM trigger. Traded my Glock 19 that I will not miss (about 1000 rds through it), and my worn P226 Equinox (about 2000 rds through it). Nice and haven't fired it yet but that will probably happen in the next few days if I am not working late at work. So this brings my little collection back down to my Springfield TRP, Sig 226, S&W M&P40, Glock 21, and HK P2000. But just a few questions that I looked for but couldn't find:

On the right side slide release seems to be loose and rattles like no tomorrow, enough to where if shaken I can actually hear it rattling, from what I have read and heard this is normal but anyway to stop this?
Also heard about removing the right side slide release, will doing this damage the weapon or leave room for the possibility of a malfunction?
Where is the cheapest place to get a .357 SIG barrel online?

Just before you ask here's a pic.

The rattle, or extra play in the right slide release is normal, just going to have to get used to it. I wouldnt remove it as it would leave the slide release/pin protruding more noticably from the right side as it wont be flush anymore. Couldnt tell you if it would be more susceptible to malfunction. Trying looking at midwayusa.com for the barrel

Clean the serrations on the slide stop with alcohol. Apply clear finger nail polish to the serations and let dry. Re-assemble, end of rattle.

H'mmmm didn't know that. Good advise. however I'm not going to do it with my P2000's, either cause they don't rattle or I just got use to it.
