Anyone else ever pocket carry a USPc?

for sh*ts and giggles I decided to see if my usp45c fit in my nemesis holster that I use for my P2000sk when I pocket carry since the holster size was actually for the p2000. Sure enough it fits like a glove and fits quite nicely in my pocket. I know the uspc 45 is bigger than my ps2000sk .40, but I have to say it doesnt feel any bigger or heavier in my pocket.

Im actually thinking of selling the sk because I think it has been replaced.


Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has tried this.

BTW, I wear jeans for work and play and my wrangler relaxed boot cut jeans fits both guns perfectly (I know someone will ask).

I am thin, it doesn't feel or look right to me in the pocket. Actually I am so damn skinny this USPc is going to need some kind of IWB holster I guess.

Like you, it would be great to see if anyone is pocket-carrying with success. Put the holster money towards extra mags or something.

You should use a pocket holster, it'll make sure you can draw it quickly without shooting your own leg or something if the trigger get caught with whatever in your pocket.

i pocket carry my p2ksk sometimes but prefer to carry my snub nose in my pocket cuz its lighter. im trying to get a nice iwb holster for my p2ksk.

sparks vmII, Ive never found a better IWB, although some would argue Comp-Tac has a few.

I am thinking of getting a C. For the fun of it I put my Tac in the Velcro pocket of my 5.11's. It barely fits, but sags. Am looking at other tactical pants/shorts that have internal pockets to the Velcro ones so a C would hang from the pant leg rather than sagging the pocket.

Will try to demo it at the gun store this weekend....

JL, are you carrying that in a front pocket or rear pocket and how big are you? I'm 5'9" 165lbs w/ a 31inch waist and I'm not sure I could make a pocket carry work. I'm trying to sort out how to make an IWB work even.
