My USPc has about 1300 rounds through it, fairly low I believe. I have noticed the grips have some white residue encrusted inbetween the cracks and crevices. This is also happening inside of the frame, inside where the magazine goes. This has been my daily carry for about a year now. I think she deserves a nice cleaning and wanted to know what is the best way to clean the frame other then ultrasonic.

The residue is probably left overs of the cleaning solvent you used last time you cleaned it.
Shooter's Choice brand-polymer safe degreaser is great for cleaning up the USP frames. When it needs a deep cleaning I like to use automotive carb cleaner on the upper assembly, with a brass brush for the barrel, and a brass tooth brush for the slide, etc. The Carb cleaner will really dry it out so you wil have to wipe done the entire upper assembly with a light oil, and put a couple extra drops of a quality oil (I like zero friction) on the frame's slide rails.

I'd do some more reading before using an ultra-sonic cleaner on a USP. I remember reading here on HKPro that ultra-sonic cleaners can cause microcracking in polymer framed pistols. You won't know something's wrong until it fails catastrophically.

I use M-Pro7 on the entire gun, polymer included. Spray the frame with solvent, brush lightly as Kost suggested, blow out everything with compressed or canned air, then wipe down the entire gun with a silicone cloth. My primary shooter has several thousand rounds through it, and it looks like it did when it came out of the box.
