Finally got all of my CompTac CTAC holsters for my USP CT, P30, HK45 and HK45c. I have been carrying the HK45c since the first day i got it, and have found it (with the flat base plate) to be very easy to conceal, unless i need to tuck in the shirt (then I go with my Walther PPS). I think I was taking it a bit for granted, because today I decided to carry the HK45 and OUCH. with no undershirt that wonderful and most praised grip feels like a cheese grater! I won't be doing that again. =) For those of you who don't know why or don't like the fact that HK stayed with the P2000 style grips on the compact as opposed to the ergo ones on the HK45 or P30, just take it from someone who has all of them and has carried them all. the HK45c is by far the most comfortable CCW gun that I own in a .45acp. HK did right by us who were looking forward to this gun for that purpose, and the grip is perfect for it. I had been using the Hogue Handall on it, and it was maybe a bit thick and hard to pull due to the rubber, and have since taken that off and found that the medium blackstrap is all that I needed. Makes it the same size and shape grip of the USPC, but with the smoothness and ergo's of the p2000 and that makes it the finest CCW gun that I have ever carried.

I agree, 99999. I too carry my Hk45C off duty. I have both Hk45 and Hk45C as well as USP45CT and the Hk45C has the best feel. I have carried all of the above at one point or another. I choose the Hk45C!!

My favorite gun right now, I got the threaded barrel for it as well... Although I typically don't have it in the gun when carrying, i have found that the extended barrel does not effect the CCW at all. Shoots as well as anything else that I own.

I agree....I still like and am glad Hk went with the grips on the 45C.

I like the grip on the full sz for IT'S intended purpose too. All the spidey grip naysayers be damned. Hk was right all along. Probably because they tried to do the same thing......(ya think?!?!?!).

I was on the fence for a long time between the HK45 & the HK45c and I finally bought the HK45c ($960 walkaway) and have not regretted it for a moment. I carry it as my CCW with a Desantis Pro Stealth IWB and it is very comfortable. I have decided to get the Kel-Tec PF9 as my BUG and pocket CCW.

how does the full size HK45 feel in the C-TAC? I'm ordering a paddle holster from comp tac for my HK45 tomorrow I was thinking about getting a C-TAC soon too seeing as milt sparks hasn't gotten a HK45 to make a mold for a verse max2 yet and even if they were making them, its a 6 month wait!

I love the HK45c and lately have been shooting it better then my HK45. I am also a fan of the HK45c grip and glad HK decided to go that way. The HK45c grip with a hogue slip on grip makes the gun feel perfect.

I liked the grip with the extended magazine plate, but in order to carry with less printing, switched to the flat floor plate. That took away the contact point that made the grip feel so nice. I added a Hogue Handall and it now feels great again.

I love my 45c with a Hogue on it but haven't carried it because I can't get an MTAC skin for my Minotaur so I'm still carrying my P2K. If Comp-Tac ever listens and comes out with the skin then I'm sending my 45c to HK for the LEM conversion. Then it will really be the shizzle!

99999, that is a sweet setup. As a matter of fact, it will be my next gun purchase. I have been waiting around for the 45CT hoping it would be a bit cheaper than buying the threaded barrel separately. Last word I got was sometime by the end of the year. How do you like the Blackside? The only Gemtech can I have is the Outback II (.22LR).
