After shooting my Kimber 1911 for the past 3 months I have become
really spoiled by its excellent trigger. So much so that I rarely shoot
my USP .40 anymore.
Has anyone here installed a match trigger on a full-sized USP?
How much does it improve the trigger feel?
Can you get down to a 3lb trigger pull with it?
The stock USP trigger is pretty mushy. Is the match trigger crisp?

Try shooting a USP Match, USP Tactical, USP Expert, or USP Elite.
The match trigger is a lot crisper, I think it's 3.5-3.75#. It's still notchy compared to a 1911.

The "Match" trigger is far from being a match trigger. If you were to rate triggers on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being a stock USP trigger, 10 being a nice 1911 trigger. The match is about a 2, maybe 3.
Majority of the over-travel is taken out with the over travel screw. SA pull drops to about 3.8 lbs. All the pre-travel is still there along with the long reset.
If you want a dedicated RANGE ONLY gun, Bruce Gray can do a trigger job into the 2.5 lb range with short reset. BUT it's a RANGE ONLY gun as he disables the firing pin block. Oh, and it's very pricy.

I have a USP 45f that I have turned into a Match clone, along with the trigger. It is nowhere as nice as the one on my Warrior and it never can be. It's just the design differences.
