Hi, As some of you might recall I'm the fellow aplauding the new HK45c and it's reliability, accuracy and how soft it shot. However, I also complained about how the way it rubbed my trigger finger raw the first couple range sessions with the pistol.:00000:
Well I think I have it figured out now without messing up my grip. Went to the range today and went through a box of WWB ammo today and "no sore finger". I just rolled my grip around a tad to the point that only the tip of my trigger finger reated on the trigger with nothing else touching the edge of the TG. It took a bit of getting used to but it worked and I'm comfortable using it now. Still can't shoot the gun as well as my Sig P220c but hopefully that will come. ha!

That is good, I read through those posts a while back about that problem. I am waiting on my HK45c to return from Trussville Alabama.

Mine had a problem with the trigger failing to return to full forward position.

I've only put 150 rounds through mine and I can't wait to get it back. While it is there, I went ahead and asked them to install the ambi safety controls.

I have not noticed the problem that you described about the abrasive trigger guard. Have you tried the Houge Handall slip on grip? I have one but have not had the opportunity to try shooting with it yet due to the return inspection/repair.

Keep us posted.

The HK45c is not as bad as HK45 or P30. If you take a weekend pistol class and fire 500+ rds a day you'll quickly find out that the trigger finger will rub on the trigger guard and mag release. If you don't mind the wait, you can have Bowie tactical do a "vickers mod" to add travel stop and mod the trigger guard.
