I bought Safariland holster and had issues with my weapon not securing correctly. I have a USP 40c with a surefire light mount with a m6 light and laser. The holster has lots of slop. It's not tight at all. You can shake the holster and the gun wiggles all around. and YES, I tightened both screws.

I sent it to them and was told it was the right holster for my application. So they sent it back to me. I was later contacted by a person by the name of Michael Lehner who works for safariland. He told me that he was notified that there was an issue with this model holster. He told me that they (Safariland) were going to fix the problem and make a correct mold.

So if anyone is going to buy this model holster 6004-29111-121 wait until they make the new mold. Anyone else have issues?

Here is a link of my holster and gun that did not fit.

Out of pure curiosity, you have a M6, not an M6x, correct?

The only reason I ask is that the Safariland website lists this holster model as "N/A for M6X", so it sounds like they're aware that there's a fitment issue with that particular illuminator/laser combo.

I am using the m6 not the x.

We use the 6280 line of holsters here at my dept. and officers with any variation of the Streamlight M3 light series have problems with "wiggle" issues.

I have a Surefire adapter and an X300 and my duty weapon fits nice and tight. It seems that due to the slimmer light they were able to make the fit better.

My holster model # is 6280-1930.
