No, that one is designed for the USP series light. The Mark23 has a different rail system thats not interchangeable.
The only "lights" that are available for the Mark23 are Wilcox light (next to impossible to find), the Insight Technologies LAM-450, which is the most common, its also around 1300-ish dollars new. The Laser Devices rail mount, in which you can mount a light or laser.
Thats it, theres no 'cheap' lights, or rail adaptors for the Mark23, so unfortunatly if you want a light on it, you gotta be willing to spend BIG bucks.

That's fine with me; I want the best equipment that's meant to be mounted on the pistol, not cheap crap.

If you paid retail for a mk23 the price of the UTL shouldn't discourage you in the least...

$2099 and got the sales tax thrown out and a thread protector free, so I think I did all right - I've searched and found that the Mark 23 is fetching over $2400 on most internet retailers where it's in stock. A gun shop today told me they could get it for $2000 plus tax, but this would make it around $2160, and I wouldn't get the thread protector - plus they did not have any in stock and did not know when they could get one in - the place I am getting mine from had it in a glass case along with pretty much every other HK pistol that's currently manufactured.
I'm really looking forward to getting the pistol (it's on layaway at a local gun shop right now with $525 down), which I should have within a few weeks.
This will be my first HK pistol; I've looked at USPs and the new HK45 many times, but have never fired one. I've owned Springfield 1911s that I sold due to reliability problems, and right now I shoot Kimbers, Berettas, and Desert Eagles a lot, and I also shoot large-bore S&W revolvers once in a while too.

The Mk23 is just too large for my hands. When I was in the market I settled on the USP .45 Tactical. It just felt better in my rather small hands. Th3 23 would be a good collector gun, but I can't comfortably shoot one.
