I used to have a mark 23 and that thing was a beast, but i could shoot though the same hole effortlessly all day long. I'm deadly accurate with my Sig 220 elite not as much as the mark 23 but up it's there, takes a more of an effort....that being said, in your experiences what would you rank as the top 5 hk 45 acp handguns.....I'm assuming the mk would be the top but what else comes after it...i bought an hk 45c and have yet to shoot it, if i like it i'm gonna get me a fullsize also..... just curious as where they rank in terms of accuracy..on a side note i used to own a fullsize usp40 and couldn't shoot it for sh*t,same story with a compact 40 and 9mm,had holes all over the place, no kind of grouping..even when i qualified with a german issue p8 i only hit 4 out of 5..but my p2000 .40 is dead on though

The Mark23 would certainly be at or near top of the list. Also, don't discount the P9S. Mechanically speaking, they're amazing shooters. Some may take issue with the DA trigger, as it's a bit of a reach. But they are tack-drivers for sure. Then there's the Match versions of the P9S with the upgraded target trigger and extended barrels.

I think the Expert, Elite & HK45 are probably pretty consistent as they use the same Mark23 inspired O-ring barrel to improve lock-up. The ones with the longer slides are likely to be the easiest to group with.

I bet the P7M7's probably pretty up there, too.

Didn't your mother teach you to share? At this rate, there won't be any HKs left for the rest of us.

HKs are accurate duty guns, but if you want an accurate 45 get a Pardini.

Just off the top of my head and from the gun specs, I would say...

1. Mark 23
2. USP Elite
3. USP Expert
4. USP Tactical
4. HK45

Who knows where the P7M7 would fit in there, but I would love to get the opportunity to test one and find out *drools*

3) USP Elite
4) USP Expert
5) USP Tactical

Cueist is probably correct... Mechanically speaking, the P9 should be the most accurate, the same reason the P7 is a very accurate 9mm, pinned/non-moving barrels. My only other experience is with a USP Tac and my HK45/HK45c. For me, I can shoot my HK45's more accurately than I can shoot my Tac. But I am pretty sure my P9 is the more accurate of the three (my .45 cal HK's)....
