Here is the New P30L, they are officially stateside and being shipped in small quantity's. The gun is identical to the P30, only difference is L for longer.
The case content was a little different compared to the P30, as you can see in the pic the lock is different and it came with a sticker.;)
Also the white buffer is quite large. The gun has great balance and looks fantastic, here are some pics, I will post detailed range info as soon as I have time to shoot.
If you need a different angle or comparison to what I have just ask and I will post pics for you.

Great news! Looks amazing!
HK FINALLY got something released in the states on time. Well not really... the P30L should have been released at the same time as the P30, but at least they got it here quickly after it was announced it would be coming over.
I'm picking up a new P226ST on Saturday and might just have to put in an order for a P30L.

No I meant that I want the LEM. The P30L looks nice and grats on the purchase. However, for me it's not practical to be spending abother $800+ on basically the same gun with a longer barrel. That's me. I can however see myself spending the money on an LEM option.

if you dont mind me asking, what model pelican case is that you have?
So is that P30L standard DA/SA with decock and no manual safety right?
If they made that thing in V1 I believe I would have to start pimpin ho's to come up with the scratch for that.
I am also curious of the trigger. I see an HK45 in that mix. How does the SA P30L trigger stack up against the SA trigger of the HK45?
Thanks for the help

Very cool man and congratulations.
Give us a range report vs the standard P30.
I hope makes good on the rumors of a hybrid P30L and introduces a match trigeer system and Match sights. Hopefully in both V3 and LEM

Nice GUNS. I'm relatively new to HK's and I'm thinking of picking one of those up. The latest offerings have really caught my attention.
Quick question though...is the oil seen on the barrel the condition as shipped, or do HK's need to run that wet?

Very Nice!!
The P30L was on the cover of Visier Magazine last year in August in Germany, was passing through the train station in Koblenz (home of the WTS, a must see for any HK fan!) and the P30L looked great then, even better now...
Thanks for sharing. I love long slide German handguns. Not sure why, just do, though it seems the P30L is just slightly longer than a USP full size?

Although I still prefer the look/barrel length of mine better, that's a nice looking pistol! I bet the accuracy is damn near unbeatable too. The regular P30 is already known for being accurate handgun, so I can only imagine one with a longer barrel.
Holy crap CHEF, whats next? A P2000 or USP would make a nice addition to your collection.

I won't be buying and handguns for a minute, I want to get a LWRC M6A2 10.5 barrel. I plan to place my order by September.
I do want a USP eventually, but not sure which one. My friend has a combat competition USP in 9mm, that is probably my favorite USP. But the next handgun purchase depends on HK, I really want a P30sk. If they don't release any news on a new sub-compact then I will go with the P2000sk.
At some point I also need to get a safe, the pelican case has room for one more sub-compact HK, but its starting to get a bit on the heavy side.

Now there's a problem I'd like to have. ;) You've really got the full spectrum of handguns now both in caliber and size. I'm not sure how much easier to carry a P2000sk would be over a P7M8 - the only meaningful distinction would probably be weight. I'd imagine that difference is substantial.
I say it's time for a HK93 or 94 clone.

Its not that I won't carry it because of its size, its just that its so dam nice. I would rather abuse a more tactical firearm that cost half as much.
As far as the spectrum of calibers, .45 and 9mm are the only handgun calibers that really interest me. They are the most well rounded in my opinion, I was never a huge fan of the .40 and don't see it in my future.

There's a healthy gap between use and abuse. Use it for many years, and when the time comes, refinish the gun. That's what I plan on doing. It'll give me an excuse to eventually get one of those cool looking nickel finishes. ;)

Yes it looks to be long enough, if not you could probably use some kind of adapter.
But my advise would be to wait for the release of the tactical model or threaded barrel.
